After working more than 10 years as an adventure and traditional tourism guide throughout different parts of America, Europe, Asia and Africa, Piero Vellutino decided to join the best of these experiences and form Terra Explorer Peru.

Patty Malaga

Patty, a Peruvian Community journalist, has the first hand experience and knowledge to custom-create your Peruvian adventure.

An integral part of the Terra Explorer Peru operation, this bubbly, enthusiastic woman has  natural compassion and intelligence coupled with common sense to ensure that all visitors see Peru as a whole – not just the tourist scene.  In addition to her talents as a trip organizer, logistics manager, and Piero handler, Patty is an amazing massage therapist and multi-media artist.

Piero Vellutino

Piero is the youngest of the Vellutino brothers, all of whom established whitewater rafting in Peru and have continually dedicated themselves to the world of adventure sports.

As a professional kayaker and whitewater rafting guide, Piero has formed part of numerous expeditions through different rivers throughout the world, as well as completing first descents down several rivers in Peru and Asia.

As to guiding in Peru, Piero has it all.  Be it whitewater rafting, trekking, kayaking or mountain biking his contagious personality and joy de vivre are something you cannot bypass, let alone ever forget.

Piero´s experience in all aspects of Peruvian Adventure explorations coupled with his extensive knowledge of his surroundings, fine cooking skills, top notch first aid and complete capability in swift water rescue ensure a five star trip.
